I haven’t tried an extreme amount of saddles, but out of the ones I’ve tried the tri-stryke is by far my favorite. I bought my first one which lasted a couple of years I think, until this June (the foam and fabric started breaking). So I bought another one, but this barely lasted about a month and a half.
I can think of 2 things that could result in early wear.
-I’m pretty heavy (just under 200 pounds)
-I use a vaseline like chamois cream (Cramer brand), which seems to eventually work it’s way through the mesh onto the foam (I didn’t start using this cream until this year, so it’s a likely candidate)
Or maybe I just got a dud. Has anybody else had their’s wear this quickly?
Are there any other saddles that fit similarly to the tri-stryke?
