I just bought a Profile Design Aero Bottle. The shop suggested that I could try to mount it without the bracket. But, I cannot follow the instructions… and THERE no pictures included!!! And, being the man that I am, I’d rather look at the pictures about how to mount this… so, if you have one of these bottle mounted, somehow with the rubberbands included… would you please post a pic?
When I used to use mine my bars were narrow enough that I could barely slide it between them. Then I just secured it with a toe clip strap.
Use the rubber bands and cris-cross them over the top to look like an X
.
Ok, I didn’t take pictures but here’s how I do it.
- put one rubberband on either side of bottle (it should be around your aero bars clearly)
- pull one ruberband up twist it to form a circle, put this circle around the lip of the bottle where the net thing goes
- repeat 2 with other rubberband.
4)adjust to personal prefs
