I have made my aero bars ‘shorter’ and have a bike computer attached under the shifters (3-4inches below).
Hence my aero bottle does not fit without hitting the computer so I want the “read end” to sit up on the stem to give me more room. Is this possible? and how?
bump…
I don’t have an answer, but I do have the same problem. Anyone?
Are you using the bracket or the rubber bands?
I think if you use the rubber band, you could wrap the band around the bike computer mount/clamp.
If its the bracket, I don’t see how you can do this without moving the computer mount. Why don’t you just take off the computer mount, put the drink system on, and then put the computer mount back on, ahead of the bottle, toward the shifters.
i have my computer turned to the outside, so it’s attached to the right hand aerobar, but on the outside. i’ve had a couple of different bar set-ups, so it’s been farther away or closer on the bars, but works the same either way.

I saw what you are talking about, live, first hand a minute ago.
I just replaced my aero extensions and put on some Hed S Bends. Rewired. With the double bend or single bend, you’ve got that extra vertical distance to the shifters, which your bottom fore-arms soar over, to put the cyclometer clamp plus the drink bracket.
However, On 12.5 inches of S Bend Aero Extensions, you’ve got no room for a cyclometer clamp AND the aero drink bracket. I have the PD aero drink bracket but I don’t use it, but because of this post, I tried to cram all of that in there, to see, there’s no way, really—I have a rather large cyclometer, though. I got close though but not sure if you could see the cyclometer.
Hell, I don’t know.
I guess you would have to take off the aero drink bracket and use the rubber band method for the aero drink.
I had that problem. I fixed it by buying a computer mount fo my stem. I have a Cateye mighty 8.
