Profile Alumin X......help

I am building a new bike(Hed VO3), and have a question about the Alumin X bars…because the headtube length is so short I am forced to use the spacers included with the bars to raise the pads to a sufficient height. This puts the pads almost at the same level as the tops of the aero extensions, forcing my wrists downward in order to grip the extensions. Since the base bar is flat, I cannot rotate the carbon extensions independently upward, like you would on most clip on bars. Is there an adjustment that I am missing here, a way to “tilt” the armrest pads, so that my wrists are not so bent? Does this question make sense, Thanks

If you install the bar end shifters you would gain a few cm to grab on. Probably you would position your hands in a perfect form, i believe Dan wrote something about the hand position on the bar end shifters.

you might need to add spacers under the base bar to raise it,or get a stem with more rise, that also will bring the base bar up so you should not have to raise the arm pads.
