Profile aerolites sizing changing to Vision Tech Clip ons

Why isn’t your bike shop helping you with this sizing issue?

The bike shop doesn’t carry triathlon bikes. So their knowledge is minimal when it comes to triathlon. They are very helpful, I was just trying to get them some extra help.

Peace be with you, how does Christ, our Lord Help you friend.

I just did the same swap on my P2K, finally replacing my Profile aerolites and base bar for the new Vision Tech base bar/clip-ons.

The VT clip-ons come in 230, 250, 270, 290mm sizes. Just measure what you have now to get a general idea. I measured from center of base bar to end of clip-on on the aerolite I also rode my aerolites short and ordered the 250mm size in VT. I’ll guess that this size would also likely work best for you. How tall are you?

Something for the original poster to consider - the length can be customized - albeit permanently - with a metal/hack saw. If you are fond of the ‘straight’ aero extensions, consider getting the Vision Tech clipons longer than what you need and then cutting them down to size so that you eliminate most (if not all) of the upward sloped part of the extension!

I am 5’7, I have actually extended(made them longer)my aerolites. I pushed my seat forward quite a bit too. My position feels good I think, there is 10 inches of snow on ground, so I am just experimenting trying to get a good feel before I order the Vision Techs.
