Does anyone have problems with the Mavic wireless bike computer. I have changed batteries, changed magnets, repaired, etc. It NEVER works consistently; especially when I need it to. Last weekend it was functional while I warmed up for a triathlon, and sure enough, came out of the water, started riding… Nothing! No amount of pressing any button would have it register MPH or Cadence.
I’ve got one of these and have never had a problem. Maybe you’ve got a bum one?
(oh, you do have to make sure that the magnet is REALLY close to the sensor).
That’s the one I have. The magnets are close, and the skewer in the front wheel has been replaced along with the batteries. I think your right, I just have a bad computer.
