Stupid question but, “why is Cam running the break line outside of the frame?” On my trek tt, the brake cable housing runs inside and comes out at the back of the seat farring. just wondering?
it appears to me heather likes to use a bento box to store her nutrition. if she removed the spacers it’s doubtful the bento box would be very secure. i’m guessing she likes the bento and the low front end combined and this is the best way to achieve it…
No, but she didn’t pay for it either.
I was walking up and down the pro isle and saw a guy with a camera taking lots of pix. Must have been you. Thanks for sharing.
Probably me, I happened to be racked about 5 ft away and had camera on me so I couldn’t resist, I love bike porn!!!
It was perfect because they were all gone for the swim so I had about 15 minutes to take pics, unfortunately I didn’t know whose bike was who so I didn’t get all the top players, I missed Lieto’s bike but there were several Litespeeds racked in the area. I cannot believe I missed Bjorn’s, that would have been cool. There were also plenty of Griffen’s, having gotten one myself I am a bit biased.
About Natascha, I thought the announcer at the race mentioned it was damaged during travel so I don’t know which one is true. So we can see that she can kick ass on a tricycle!
I think having bottles on the frame also has to do with the incredibly shitty pavement in the bike course. I am sure pro’s don’t want to be losing bottles in front of the refs. Ironically the one person that has been penalized for this (Widoff) was running them behind.
Macca’s Talon was freaking hot, it might have been last years but it had DA 10sp. Reid was using 9sp with the FSA chainring.
My point was that everyone seems to be putting their bottles on their frames, and NOT behind their seats. I wonder if this is the new trend and I’m going to have to get rid of my behind-the-seat bottle cage?
I dropped the behind the seat cage at the end of last year…believe it or not, I’m a converted camel backer…I simply had too many bottles get knocked out and with a tube director you never have to get our of aero. Plus, it’s great passing people when you’re wearing a camel back.
