I am pretty new to triathlon, but have been doing pencil portraits for years. I am wanting to put together an art book of pro triathletes. I know this is pretty unrelated to the typical type of thread on here but I also think its the best place to get a good idea of who all would be good to do portraits of to put in the book. I have contacted a few of the top pros and got a couple responses back. First one was from Crowie which made my day. I was wondering if you all could throw some suggestions my way. Its not easy to find headshots to reference from for the drawings. Craig Alexander recommended the cover picture from 3GO magazine, so I think I’ll start with that one. I got to meet Gordon Haller last year at the Branson 70.3 (at the porta-potty line of all places). I think it would only be fair to put him in there as well.
