Are you against a president have such incompetent staff that they did not know what would be shown behind the president, did know that was being shown and did not care, or even when it did come up, not immediately scream for it to be taken down? I think most people are against that.

That’s the point of liberalism though. To evolve the country/group into something new and better - although historically that’s the overthrow of monarchies and state religions.
Conservatism is the opposite. To stay in the past. To authority. To control.
Neither Democrats nor Republicans are liberal though. Both are conservatives, just one more than the other.
The US is full of conservatives - all D, all R, all centrists, and most independents are conservatives. At least 50% of American adults are right of center (the 128m who voted for Hillary or Donnie in 2016)
