How will this play out…
Will he get re-elected? Will he get beat?
How will the economy play out?
Let’s make this fun, see what people come up with and look back to see who predicted best.

He’s going to have a cardiovascular event, after which he will declare himself the healthiest person on the planet.
My predictions,
The economy will slide and he will blame the Feds or the Democrats for interfering with his economic plan.He will lose in the Presidential debates but will blame the fake moderator who lobbied easy questions at Biden. He’ll lose the Presidency and blame the Clintons and fake media creating a stacked field against him.He will then go on the attack against his staff that went against his good instincts on how to run a campaign. He’ll say the only reason Obama won 2 terms is because the media coddled him. He’ll then say he didn’t really want to win 2 terms because he was so popular around the world because of the economy that he was single handily responsible for when it was going well, that he has thousands of job opportunities. No one has ever had so many.In the transition, he will be courteous when meeting Biden face to face but then start attacking him personally when he gets behind his computer.
I know these points are completely out of character for Trump but there goes.
He will continue to kick ass and take names, snap necks and cash checks.
Beating Biden in the election.
-Getting really crazy in the next term, building a monument to himself on the white house lawn made of marble and gold.
-Changes the name of the white house to Trump Manor
–Creates a Federal Holiday on his birthday.
–Fires everyone in Trump Manor and on his staff other than his kids.
–Decides to use Brawndo as the official drink of the United States.
–The economy shoots straight up, the country is prosperous, times are good.
He’ll try to buy Puerto Rico.
Build a moat between us and Canada. And make the Argentinians pay for it. (Nothing will get built, but he’ll declare the Great Lakes a great success)
Play another 150 rounds of golf.
Try to abolish the 19th amendment. Haven’t women suffraged enough?
Raise rural highway speeds from 55 to 60.
Dementia catches up and/or he has a minor stroke and starts walking around the White House lawn in a bathrobe like Cousin Eddie.

IMO reelection is highly dependent on who gets the Democratic nomination and will be close regardless.
If there’s a Biden/Harris ticket I think Trump will get re-elected. (side note: as an independent I’d likely vote for that ticket)If there’s a Warren/(insert vice here) ticket I think that ticket will win. (side note: I’d abstain in voting in the presidential election in this case)If Warren gets the Democratic nomination China will run at full sprint to make a trade deal with Trump.
This is kind of a cop-out but I’m uncertain about the economy too. I say this because it’s very much a game of confidence right now. Fundamental numbers in the U.S. are good with the primary exception being corporate debt. The main risk is that consumers hear “recession” and that triggers a self-reinforcing loop of reduced expenditures.

The second one and the last one will be even funnier because Warren is the nominee and he’s talking about Biden.
I’m making no predictions on the results of election. We are stupid enough to do it again.
But Trump is going to flip the script next May. On May 13th he will give a speech outlining carefully considered policies to secure the elections and ensure a fair and impartial contest. He will describe his deep respect for Elizabeth Warren while vowing that there will be no personal attacks and this election will be decided on the merits of their ideas, and finally he will thank Barack Hussein Obama for leading the country through a difficult time.
The entire campaign will be calm and respectful. If he loses he will graciously call the winner and wish them the best of luck and his full support.
Of course the above is ridiculous. Which is sad, because, except for the no personal attacks bit, every other presidential candidate for the last forever would have said exactly this.
I would not be surprised that, if things are looking bad next spring trump throws in the towel, rather than suffer a defeat.
Probably threatens to nuke australia because they wouldn’t give him a kangaroo.
Kasich primaries Trump and beats Biden in a close election.
Trump makes billions off his newfound role in the world, personally buys Greenland just to piss everyone off then flips it to Putin for an 80% profit.
I was 100% wrong last time so why not go for the big prediction, right?
Dems stand around for 2 yrs trying to figure out what just happened (again).
He’s going to be re-elected because the donkeys will not get their shit together until it’s much too late. Then Harris wins in 2024.
Bellevue
.
Economy starts to tank. Trump makes up some reason to declare martial law and postpone elections until things are “stable.†People flip out but Republican Party does nothing. Trump mandates that Ivanka replaces him in 15 years so he can be the longest serving president.

If he nukes us, it will be because we laugh when he asks us to sell him New Zealand.
This morning I heard someone say “remember in his first week when he insulted (Oz PM) Turnbull?
Commentators were saying ‘WTF?? You’re picking a fight with Australia?’ Now (after sucking up to North Korea and Russia) he’s picking a fight with… Denmark”.
So, for his next trick, I expect he will galvanize his base around a proposed full-scale naval assault on Bhutan. (Yes, naval).
He’ll have a tantrum and leave the White House saying it’s lame and he’ll then say that it was all part of his best reality show ever and he was the most popular president ever because of his highest ratings ever.
Either that or he’ll have a stroke and he’ll evade all justice as he sits out his years dribbling sat in a golden chair in his tower while idiots come and pay homage to him as if he’s a prophet.
Personally i’m still hoping for global nuclear war so we can be put out of our misery.
I predict that Pres Trump will declare himself to be “The Chosen One,” and advance the theory that he is essentially like the King of Israel who is like the second coming of God in that country,…
Oh, wait,…
Dems will probably win more congressional seats, so I'd rather stay with a pub POTUS. The economy is by far the most important thing to Trump. I look for (okay, hope) the economy slips some, Trump gets more and more unhinged, and the pub party replaces him for the next election cycle with a sane republican. Left will have already chosen a nutbag, so sanity on the pub side wins!
He will get re-elected and from there will follow China’s lead by working on removing terms for the POTUS, who will become DOTUS (dictator of the US).
He becomes ever more delusional and thinks tariffs will save the US economy but instead China-made stuff costs 100x what it used to. Cuz everything is so expensive (what’s not made in China?!) nobody spends money and the economy tanks.
Let’s fast forward to 15 years later … he’s still DOTUS but ruling from his golden throne, even though he’s like 100 years old. The film Idiocracy becomes reality (first thing to be cut, and cut again and again is education - who needs that elitist crap) except that we’ve got DOTUS instead of President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.
When Trump finally keels over (he’s used a lot of Pearl cream to keep his skin looking young and bright), the golden torch is passed to Ivanka Trump who then becomes DOTUS.
I tell you now I see it all in my crystal ball …
I would not be surprised that, if things are looking bad next spring trump throws in the towel, rather than suffer a defeat.
It has worked in the past. LBJ. He threw in the towel because of his health. Well, that was the official reason. There was also the seldom remembered fact that he had lost primary races and was behind in the delegate count and likely going to be primaried. But, how many of you know or remember that?
