Powetap hub importance for a clyde

I continue my research into powertap options and think that a Mavic CXP 32 hole sounds good for a wheel but I also saw some discussion about hub size and flex. I was wondering if a clyde should even consider a 12mm or if it’s just going to flex too much. I am looking at the elite+ because it’s cheap and I don’t really need the HR (I can get that from the garmin)

12 mil vs. 16 mil is all marketing…lots of big dudes before you have ridden 12mil with no probs. Got a big-dude-bud that cranks out some massive wattage… he’s on an original SL with mavic open pro 32 hole.

The 12 mm steel axle is stronger and if you get the pro+ you can ask them to swap it out for you. That’s what I did based on the advice of Rich at wheelbuilder.com.
