PowerTap with two bikes?

I recently ordered a PowerTap Pro and would like to use it with a Cervelo P2K and a Specialized Allez. My question is what size cassette (11-23,12-21…) should I install to be compatible with both bikes? Does it matter?

Doesn’t matter so long as they both are the same (i.e., Campy 10sp, Shimano 9sp, etc).

I have a beefy PT wheel for use on both my TiPhoon(10spd) and road bike(9spd). All you need should you have different cogsets is a a crescent wrench, cassette tool and chain whip and then just swap them out. Other-wise the cassette selection matters only on what your smallest cog is in comparison to what your current training wheel is if you will be swaping frequently… i.e. where the chain lies when the deraileur is being set. For instance… should you have a 12 tooth on your current p2k wheel and then go for a 11 tooth cog on the PT then the deraileur will not be ‘exaaaactly’ perfect when quickly swaping out wheels but will still get the job done. Good luck!
