Powertap SL 2.4 Wireless Hub Specs?

I was trying to find the specs for the 2008 powertap SL 2.4 hub but I have been having a difficult time. Does anyone happen to have the specs handy? What I am most interested in is what size axle does it use? Is it a 12mm aluminum (like the '09 Pro+) or 15mm aluminum (like the '09 SL+) axle? (I care because I am a clydesdale).

Thanks in advance.

Either way (sorry, I don’t have the answer), it seems like you could have a titanium axle turned for relatively cheap and not gain more than a handful of grams, while ensuring a significant increase in strength.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have to admit that I have no idea where I should go to get those made. Thanks again.

12mm aluminum.

That is what I suspected. Thank you!

Most machine shops would be able to duplicate an axle in titanium fairly easily assuming they have the 12mm titanium rod/tube in stock.

Chris

I believe you can also pay to have the 2008 versions upgraded to the 15mm axle, and if you needed/wanted further strength, you could get a 15mm titanium axle made.

Hey Jordan, quick question.
I have my bottle mounted up front, which I believe you still have set up too.
Where do you put your PT comp? I just ordered one. I assume it’s on the stem?
Not that I need to stare at it, but can you see it ok ?

Thanks!
ED

Stem. Yes, I see it okay. Not quite as good as when it’s further out in front, but not a big deal.

Good to know. Thanks. And thanks again Jordan.
