Send it back. It isn’t like an SRM where you can calibrate it.
You can recalibrate it but you will need to look in your owner’s manual to get the directions. If you don’t have your owner’s manual its on-line. I don’t remember off the top of my head how to.
You cannot recalibrate a powertap, you can zero torque but recalibrate, they do it at the factory. g
is there a way to make sure its not reading correctly. i have been riding with a group people and sitting about 40 watts lower then a few guys. we are side by side, and apprx weight, even our LT power tests are comparable. but he is at 240 and i am at watts
same bike, same weight, same aero dynamics? same weight of bike, weight of wheels, anyone drafting? if all of that is honestly equal then you need to go into the 5th testing mode in the edit mode and check calibration for the wheel and cpu, I suggest looking on their site to do it, simple but complicated to repeat. If it is not between 515-540 ?? then your wheel needs to be recalibrated.
You may want to switch cpus and or wheels with your buddy to establish what is going on. g
