Accuracy = Power Tap (all the PT models have the same accuracy)
Ease of use = not used the new Ergomo, the old one wasn’t horrendous to use or particularly non-user friendly but the set up/slope calibration was horribly long winded
better software = Ergomo. It comes with Cycling Peaks which is the gold standard for power analysis

I’ve just started to use Ergormo pro this week and if you’re willing to spend the time with it it’s an incredibly powerful tool. I only wished I’d got on board with this sooner.
Just to echo Ric, get training peaks software. It’s awesome.

There’s some info on this thread from the other day.
same as others have said around here, i have only had the ergomo for about 2 weeks and the BEST feature is the PRO Power screen.
Accuracy, as long as it is accurate against itself over the time that i own it what do i care if it say diff then a CT, SRM, or a power-tap. I will not know, but i will know my numbers according to MY Ergomo.

What if it breaks, and your replacement powermeter is accurate, or at least moreso?
Even if it never breaks, what if you decide to get another device that measures power, to which you want to be able to compare your Ergomo data?
What if you want to use tools such as ‘power profiling’ that are predicated upon the assumption that the power data are accurate?
What if you want to know if your aerodynamic drag is exceptionally high, low, or average, so that you know how much attention you should devote to reducing it?
Etc.
Wheelbuilder.com is offering a free copy of cyclingpeaks with a PT purchase, FWIW.
All excelent questions,
