Will I be able to use my powertap on a standard turbo trainer?

yes, I’ve used my PT on my Cyclops Fluid 2 trainer for 3+ years now. I got so used to my PT on the trainer that I could stay within 10w of my target intensity during intervals, then when I hit the road my watts were all over the place, but still a great training tool.
