I’m hoping somenone can help me. I just bought a new powertap sl2.4 and when i try to download the data the computer can’t find anything any ideas on what to do?

My very first ride with my PT last month I had the same problem. The computer/Power Agent recognized that the unit was in the cradle but did not show that there were any files stored in the unit. Of course, there was a ride stored. I ended up clearing the data and going through the full PT setup and then doing another short ride and everything was fixed from then on. However, I was never able to get the data from the first ride.
I emailed Saris prior to getting everything to work but they never responded. If you can call Saris during the week they may have another idea.
Make sure the right COM port is selected. For mine, it has to be COM 5 or it will not work.

Same deal here, COM 5 and several computers I’ve used, or it’s a no-go.
I’ve also found that the computer must be completely back on the cradle–triple check this. I’ve had this bite me many times.
