Hey guys,
I tried PowerTap customer support twice but they are unable to help me.
I have a G3 hub and it’s upgraded to the last firmware version 16.xxx.58 (I’ve confirmed it also in my garmin edge on sensor details> about).
It refuses to wake up after you spin the wheel.
To wake up you have to open the hub remove the cap, remove the battery, wait 1 min and put it back on.
Imagine doing this on every 7 eleven/cafe stop… Jesus!
I’m out of options, don’t know what else to do. Besides fix this problem, sell this thing and buy a Quarq, SRM or Stages.
Tried the search function here on the forum. The official powertap thread is abandoned by the company.
Also tried searching the web, but to no avail.
Also thought it was a battery problem, so I exchanged it 3 times already (bought some expensive duracell 2032 3V). Nothing…
