This will be my first time doing this race, I’ve heard good things from prior events but this new course seems real sketchy. 3 loops downtown on the bike, with a turnaround each loop? I’ve driven around downtown B’ham and the areas the race will go through, so I know it will be MUCH MUCH flatter than prior year’s races. Anyone have any thoughts?

Also I know it’s the elite national championship with a $5K purse (so I’m sure the competition will be fierce) and nationals is the next weekend but who’s gonna be there?

I was fool enough to go do the bike/run at NO 70.3. Even I’m not fool enough to go race PMA the week before Nats.

Awesome, since I won’t be able to make it to Nats this year maybe I’ll take advantage of the lack of “Open Male” competitors.
