I had the same problem two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven’t figured it out yet and haven’t had the time to call Saris/Cycle-Ops to ask about it. I’ve been told by others that it means you need to update the firmware on the computer. There are instructions on how to do that in the user manual on the Saris website. I never could get it to work for mine, though.
I suggest that you call Cycle-Ops on Monday and talk to a customer service rep. They’ll probably have some better suggestions than what you’ll get here. I plan to do that when my schedule lets up enough.
I’ve had the same error a couple of times. I reflashed the firmware and it worked fine. If you’re not that technically savvy (or if that doesn’t work), call Saris. Good luck!
