Wondering if anyone has a similar problem and how they fixed it? At 5 miles to the end of the Philly Gran Fondo (torrential downpour) , my power tap stopped reading wattage. Still had heart rate and did not say “low batt”. The next week it worked fine. Today in am,it worked fine for 40 minutes then no wattage. This evening I just turned it on and it is reading wattage again. It is the wireless one.
It sounds like you need new hub batteries. When they get low they will work intermittently depending on the temperature. As the temperature goes down they won’t work as well. It’s a 2 min job to change the batteries and see if that helps.
Sorry to hijack the thread but my powertap consistently is 30-40 watts below the reading on my computrainer which feels to be more accurate. I replaced the battery in the display but could this be low battery in hub as well or something else. I zero out the torque 2x per week. Thanks
