I’ve had my PT for 3 years and never had issues. Lately, it keeps shutting down during rides. I replaced the batteries and I don’t think there is moisture in the hub as today 45 min. into a roller ride it stopped. Anyone have any solutions or had the same problems?
Make sure you use more expensive silver oxide batteries (no. 357 for Powertap SLs) rather than cheapo ones, as they’ll only last for a matter of weeks rather than months, depending on how much you use them

yes, I had similar problems, my power tap stopped working all of a sudden and I had no idea why. I had to send mine back to saris and they had to recalibrate the hub, it took about two weeks for me to get my wheel back, but they serviced it for nothing, call them up first and make sure you get a service number from them before you send it back

Make sure you replaced the batteries in the control unit as well as the hub.
