I was wondering I have the power tap, in regards to recording, should i do a clear all before each ride?
It’s not necessary, but a good idea. If you are downloading the data, every time you put the computer in the download cradle, it writes a null record to the computer memory; if you then do another ride, you won’t be able to download that ride (it won’t read past the null record).
Remember also that you need to “clear all” in interval mode, with the “m” icon showing, if you’ve got any stored intervals.
