Before downloading to WKO I looked at my avg. power numbers on my 310 and 705. They were vastly different. I downloaded both into WKO and like magic they came out the same EXCEPT they aren’t even close to the numbers that I looked at in the history portion on the 310 and 705. What gives with that? How am I supposed to know which number is really right?

Specifically FAQ #5 and #8 - i.e. probably zero averaging.
Top 2 in the “things we hope Garmin will fix with the 310XT’s firmware because it would be trivial for them to do it because they already have the code in the 705 and 500 but we’re not necessarily holding our breath” category.
Thanks. In that article there was a link that to Training Peaks that was supposed to explain the power differences from the Garmin’s to WKO+, however the link did not work. Does anyone happen to know what TP said the reason was?

Fixed the link (thanks for mentioning it):
http://support.trainingpeaks.com/device-agent/troubleshooting.aspx
.
That explains it, but it doesn’t mean I like it.

Hopefully they update the 310 firmware soon - its a bit sad seeing power numbers go from 240+ down to 216 putting them into trainingpeaks. I would prefer to know where I’m at with the zero averaging.
How do your calories burned look? Mine seem crazy high. I asked Garmin and they said it is a calculation. They are telling me I’m burning 3000 calories in 1:45 minutes on the bike.
