I’d like to think I’m not an idiot… but how does one post pictures on slowtwitch without having to post as a link. Is it something having to do with html code?
go to tinypic.com to host the pic than use the advanced editor and click on the little picture frame on the right side of the tool bar.

The pix needs to be hosted somewhere (on another website), ST does not host images. www.tinypic works well, but most use some sort of photo album site.

You need to be using a IBM compatible PC
-
Right click on the image, select (while it’s on a different window)
-
into your message where appropriate
Ok… how do I get to the advanced editor?
At the bottom of the box you type your post in there is a tab “Switch to Advanced Editor” just above the Append signature to post. If is says Switch to Basic Editor than you are already in advanced editor.

I figured it out… mozilla Firefox was so not having it. K so check out my bike porn!
Oh that’s sweet. And pretty darn light! Very smart on not photographing in your house and getting critiqued on your choice of wall color, carpet, furniture, etc. What bottle cages are those?
Yeah really… well you guys can always critique my shop’s bin organization. They’re the bongrager carbon cages… 25g’s a piece. I have a set of bontrager xxx lite aero bars with s-bends that are going on that bike when tri season gets going. Anyone have any fast forward seat suggestions to steepen the seat tube angle?
Well you could use a Thompson, which has a zero offset – that should get you a few cms at least.
those electrical cords look like a fire hazard…
Very nice bike!

This tab only appears if you use Internet Explorer. I was trying to get htis to work, bu I was using Firefox, but you can’t use the advenced editor in Firefox.
it’s simple…no Explorer, no pictures

And no quotes and no links and no bold, italics, underline colors etc. etc. I guess I will just have to switch to IE every time I use this forum
Hey it does look different in IE - I always use Firefox Wow this is cool
Ok, well heres my bike. Not my pic or my place, actually its from the Auction I won it on.
Had less then 15 miles on it when I got it. and NO marks.
Got it for $480. List is $750

Got it this time.

Can’t beleive nobody has commented on seat height because it looks too high - seriously!
Just a test to figure picture posting.
