Posterior tibial tendonitis: help

Does anyone have any insight on how to quickly recover from this. I think I have solved the issue as to how I got it. I just want to get back to training asap. Any tips are most appreciated.

I developed this after IMLP this past year. I went to my family MD and he referred me to a foot doc. He told me that this was an over use injury/over pronation problem. He fitted me with some custom orthotics and I have not had any problems since. The total time off from any real training was about 6 weeks or so. My advice to you is to make sure you are fully recovered prior to starting your training again or it might just be a set back for you. Good luck!

The forum on the Julstro website (www.julstro.com/18.html) has some posts about this. It’s a great source. Julie Donnelly answers all the posts herself. She’s an expert on repetitive strain injuries. She also understands the Triathlete’s need to recover as quickly as possible.
