Post your favorite smoothie recipe

someone must have a great smoothie recipe … im in the mood for one but i cant decide what to make

Strangely enough, I just finished one before I read this. It’s a VERY simple, but tasty one!

1/2 banana
5 frozen strawberries
2 scoops frozen vanilla yogurt (low fat)
1 cup 2% milk

Blend, and voila, a tasty smoothie/milkshake!

i just made one (well ok two if we are being honest here) :

2 bananas

3/4 cup of fat free organic milk

a handfull of blueberries

6 strawberries

and finally the secret super smoothie trick - malibu pina colada mix (that was for you rappstar) and no it doesnt have alcohol in it
.

no protein supplement?

1-1 1/2 scoop(s) beverly international protein–vanilla

handfully of frozen organic black cherries (or strawberries)

ice, and about 16 ounces of water

1/2 to 1 full tablespoon of macadamia nut oil

blend up, and yum.

  1. get in car

  2. drive to Jamba Juice

  3. spend too much on a sugar laden drink that will only make me fat

  4. spend the next hour jacked up on sucrose

  5. crash hard and get grumpy

that’s my recipe

protein powders put me off … they taste chalky … i rather eat chicken all day and have a nice smoothie without the saw dust at night

macadamia nut oil … what made you try that … is that healthy - not that it matters im just curious

Sounds like I will try this one you posted.

One frozen banana, cut into pieces weeks earlier (no ice needed)

8 oz. or so vanilla soy milk

One scoop (natural) Vanilla Egg & Whey Protein from GNC. This has no added sugar or aspartame or any other artificial sweetener

1/2 cup blueberries or 1 kiwi

1/2 avacado (makes it sooo smooooth)

.

  1. crash hard and get grumpy

Used to be mine but crashy, grumpy, followed by sleepy. I guess I tire myself out when I’m mad.

My recovery drink of choice:

1 cup Chocolate Silk

1 1/2 (about) cup of ice cubes

3 T peanut butter

If you are feeling it, throw in a small frozen banana

handful of ice
5 frozen strawb.
1/2 banana
1/2 cup FF yogurt or
scoop of vanilla endurox or
scoop of Hammer whey protein
sliced cantaloupe or peaches
packet of amino acids
splash of light OJ
splash of H20
ice crush then whip

Monk’s smoothie recipe:

1/2 cup wasabi/mayo combo

1 1/4 cup tomatoe paste extract

3/4 lb. dry ice

1 cup sausage or ground beef

serve with celery

you have to add alcohol for the dry ice to smoke:))))))))
.

1/2 Bananna

tomatoe paste

1 can of Tang

a bag of potatoe chips

sweet and sour sauce

lime juice

1/2 can of sardines

1 bottle of tequilla ( for flavoring)

Then call a CAB to take you to a hospital, hehehehehehheeh
.

Recipe?

What fun is that?

Throw in some milk (regular or lowfat chocolate)

Throw in some ice cubes

Throw in some fat-free vanilla yogurt

Throw in whatever fruit that seems possible (or whatever’s in the freezer)

Throw in protein powder

Add flaxseed oil if you prefer (I don’t)

Choc milk w/ strawberries and bananas is always good … as is mango and blueberries.

My wife and I eat according the “The Abs Diet” which includes smoothies. Their little $6 “Eating the Abs Diet Way” bookk has a bunch of great recipes … but really, after making a few of them, it was obvioius that actual recipes are pointless. Add in the basics and let your creativity run wild. The best one I’ve had is called the “Orangeman” which uses orange juice concentrate. Serious kick to the taste buds. I’ll edit this post later to include the recipe.
