I’m just getting the go-ahead from my doctors to start biking and swimming after my Achilles tendon surgery last fall. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to properly get myself back into decent shape. Is there anything different I should be doing because of the injury? More swim drills, or more kickboard laps, etc? Should I stick to spinning on the bike rather than jumping into intervals again? I’m starting largely from scratch again since it’s pretty hard to get any cardio while you’re on crutches.
