That is one sweeeettttttt fixie…

Aegis frame?

so hot.

so very hot.

Thanks

Yup, it’s custom job.

I actually haven’t touched any of my road bikes since I finished building it up. I love it too much to share my time.

wow.

that is one heck of a bike, and a great photo of it.

can you say more about the frame?

and what kind of rims, and bar & stem are those?

Must…go… back…to…work…

Can’t…stop…looking…at…bike…

productivity…at…all…time…

…low.

Nice hoods - Shimano Sante’s if I’m not mistaken. I have a pair as well.

Hello…

You are mistaken, and no Shimano parts will ever be on a bike that I ride or even sit on…

They are Modolo aero hoods…

Cheers,

The frame is great, it rides like butter and gets lots of looks! I was worried about climbing the SF hills on a fixed, but the stiffness helps out a lot. Climbing the hills are almost as fun as bombing them now! And it wasn’t built by a faceless factory in taiwan somewhere. It’s nice to have a bike and know exactly where it came from

It’s got Velocity Deep V’s laced to formula hubs (to be Phils someday soon), Deda pista track drops, Ritchey stem (free at interbike), King headset, and a bontrager drivetrain that I got a good deal on…but will soon be upgraded to a full Sugino 75 setup.

A mid-80’s univega. I built this up while recovering from back surgery last summer. Thus the extra-long quill stem that’s since been lowered quite a bit.

I never really understood the fascination with fixies. I still can’t really explain it, but I know I love riding it.

scott

This is my fixie. I set it up to match my TT position.

Rich at WheelBuilders built the wheels from a pair of NOS Campy High Flange Hubs.

…on royal gran compe levers and brakes??

No photos, so here’s a video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m-9yHnG76Q

My 2nd time on the track and I was still learning (passed a slow guy underneath). I’m the one (with the trispoke ) WAY in back at the beginning who decides enough is enough and hammers home for the win. It’s a Felt TK2. Started racing at the track in May and am having a blast. Will upgrade soon, which lets me do longer races.

Originally buit as a training frame for the British sprint squad. Steel, with steel forks. ITM Big One stem with ITM Europa bars. Stronglight Mygal chainset. Selle Italia nitrox saddle. Campagnolo Record large flange hubs. Also have Profile Carbon X tribars, with Campag Kamsin disc for pursuit, kilo etc.

Track bike

I have limited bandwidth, so someone can repost it if they wish.

Great patina. Where did you pick up the white tires?
