My new gyms pool length is 20 yards. I attempted to set a custom pool length on my Garmin 910XT and the smallest pool option was 22 yards. Any work-arounds for this?
Nope.
Either set it to 22 and you’ll always think you are 10% faster than you really are (or less if you have a strong wall push), or set it to 40 and multiply it all by two in your head.
I’d just use 22 and swim ziggy-zaggy.

Get a 920xt; you can set it as low as 17m or 18yds for custom pool length.
You’re going to spend more time turning than swimming, might be better to find a different venue.
