Position Pic's Protocal

Fellow SlowTwitchites, there have been a lot of wonderful bicycle fit discusions as of late, but unfortunatly the photo’s seem to be having a little trouble. Here are a couple of pointers for future poster’s (not the kind on the wall.)

  1. Take a photo in a clean spot. We don’t want to see your cluttered garage, dirty laundry, or other garbage laying on the floor.

  2. Use lighting to your advantage. White lights tend to wash you out and make you look pasty. See if you can’t find a different shade, or better yet, take the photo outside about half an hour before the sun goes down. (You’ll look sexier than ever.)

  3. Wear matching clothes. Look profesional. This is “Triathlon” folks, were not going for the “I rolled out of bed this morning and put this on look.”

  4. There should be more ladies posting. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Hey Gopha, you are a cruel man.Let me address a few of your points:

  1. It’s England in April, therefore it is chucking it down with rain and I only have the garage to take photos in.

  2. I’m English and at the end of an English winter we all look this colour, that is an English tan, not washed out or pasty. As for taking a photo 1/2 an hour before the sun goes down, I refer you back to the fact that in England in April it will be approximately 740 hours before the sun rises and I need feedback before then.

I’m kinda hoping 3 doesn’t refer to me, 'cos that would be just “plain Brit bashing”!

But, brother rodent I’m with you on item 4. Wouldn’t mind seeing what Leigh (Cyborg42’s bike position is like

Toodle-pip, old chap.
