sorry for the low res pics. i had the camera on the wrong setting! is my seat too low? it feels ok though…

thanks in advance,

Kim

Must be really low res, I can’t see a pic at all!

you need to put on your 3 - D glasses
.

i changed the yahoo settings…hope it works now!

Kim

Personally I’d try and go a little lower.
Just my thoughts.

Is your seat high enough?

How long can you stay in that position?

How low can you go in the front end? You only look low because you have the front wheel lower than the back wheel. Other than that, things look good.

That’s Doctor Impoy, er… Lopez… to you Tibbs!

this is about as high as i can go before i start feeling my hips are rocking too much. still recovering from 2 thigh bone surgeries so i might be able to raise the seat a tad as i get better.

i’ve used this position for long rides of as much as 6 hours.

Kim

you’re right…i didn’t notice that. but going by feel, i think this as low as i can go for now. maybe one spacer more but then it would be hard on my neck. i’m not really uncomfortable in my back but i don’t like straining to look ahead. do you think i should go lower just from an aero standpoint or is my hip angle still too obtuse?

thanks for the comments!

Kim

educated but hardly powerful…at least not on my bike

hi jhc! how do i know you???

Kim

From both standpoints. You’re riding very forward which means that for you to have the hip angle right you have to be very low. Or you can go a bit back. And for aerodynamics reasons you could be a bit lower in the front end. And keep the seat height, it’s fine.
