Can poor blood-flow end up causing pain in the lower leg? Pain that tends to set in while seated, as i start to move (walk) the pain tends to go away.
PAD (peripheral arterial disease) can most definitely cause lower leg pain, but usually with activity and usually a set distance (known as intermittent claudication). PAD that causes pain at rest (ischemic) is a very bad thing! ![]()
Most common in the SFA (superficial femoral artery) or behind the knee at the trifurcation from the femoral artery. Assuming you aren’t a 50+ yo diabetic 2 packer per day smoker lurking on this board, I’d wager a guess of NO to your question.
cool. thanks for the response. as i am not a 50 yo smoker i guess i can rule that one out.
