Pool Swim Times vs Half and Full IM Times

I’ve seen a few swimming threads lately as well as the thread where people are posting their bike power and race times. Obviously swimming is a bit different due to water current, drafting, sighting, positioning at start (mass vs wave vs Louisville), etc., but I’d be really curious to hear what times people were swimming in the pool and how that matches up with their Half and Full Ironman times. I’ve done a few of both types of races but didn’t really focus much on the swimming portion prior to the race. That said, I’ll be at IM Texas in a couple months and have been spending more time in the pool. I’ve seen good improvements with 6,000 - 9,000 yds/week of training, but don’t necessarily follow any specific swim program. I just try to do a good mix of sprint and endurance work. I’m currently able to manage 10 x 100 on the 1:30 (coming in at the 1:20ish mark), 500 in the low 7:00’s and a 1,650 around 23:40.

Anyways, it’d be helpful if folks could post their 10 x 100 send-off time (and when they’re coming in), 500 TT-type time, 1650 TT-type time, or any other distance/time as well as what they swam in their last race. I’m just trying to get some sense of where I might end up in an IM swim (obviously no way to control for current, drafting, etc) and any benchmark times would be really helpful. Also, apologies in advance if this topic has already been covered. If you happen to have a link to the prior thread, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I’ll tell you in 4 days
