Pollen in eyes - Wiley X Eyewear

Over the past week I have been having a real problem with pollen in my eyes while training. In fact the pollen has been so bad as to cause an eye infection. I have been looking for sun glasses that will help protect against some of the environmental elements such as dust and pollen while biking and running; yet they must breath well during those long training sections. I have been doing some research and have come up with Wiley X Eyewear and was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with these glasses or have any recommendations.

geno55,

I used a similar Wiley X model in Iraq with good success. My specs had the lenses which lightened or darkened depending on ambient light conditions. I wore them everywhere. You will notice that the foam gasket retards a bit of the airflow over the lens, and some fogging will occur. Their models have changed and advanced significantly since I bought my first pair of XL-1’s, so I am sure they have corrected/improved the anti-fog properties of their lenses.
