They’re not good for much else, but for battery replacement, Radio Shack does the install for free.
Will using radio shack void warranty? And thanks for thinking it is a great post. I do think Polar has the best HR product out there.

If you want the watch sealed again for swim use you need to send it to Polar, which is very fast and easy (at least it is here). I had the red start button on my X625 break, they replaced it free and within three days as I had a race to do. I have always been impressed with Polar’s servicing kind of like the De Soto of HRMs.
Wow! Who would have thought to go to the product manufacturer’s website and click on customer support? Its a wonder more companies don’t offer this kind of feature.
