I am training by heart rate and I am not clear how to set the alarm to go off if I hit for example 160 and than to go off after it hits 150.

You would like a target zone of 150-160? Target Zones are performed on PPT.com. Go to the day of the week you are training, and LEFT CLICK on that day and click on Phased Target when it appears. Set it up for MANUAL and enter your zones. You can enter mileage and duration, it does not have to be exact mileage, just needs a value. Once saved, open up that day and you can save the target you just created as a FAVORITE and for future runs, just grab it and place it on that future workout. You will have to re-sync the watch to transfer it to your RCX5 and you will notice a new screen called PROGRAM. So what you could do is create a LSD (long slow distance), etc, recovery/easy run etc. Once under favorites, just assign it. You could also your sport zones on the watch.
