I have read the manual but everytime I start riding the computer keeps beeping at me and I am not sure why. Does anyone else one of these and understand what is trying to tell besides be VERY annoying! I read the manual and got it turn off alarms once but the next time out it started beeping again. I dont want to have to go through 10 screens to turn it off everytime. Please help!

Are your HR zones set? Mine beeps when Im not in mine, usually the first mile or so of the ride.
I was able to turn my sound off permenantly. There are I think two different settings for sound, one for overall sound and one for the below/above HR zone settings. Once i turned them both off I’ve never had the issue, the screen blinks now, but doesn’t beep. I never set up my HR zone’s because I’ve found that I generally cycle i the 150-170 HR rate, yet my HR zone when I tried to allow the HR monitor to figure it out had my upper somewhere around 150, which I figured can’t be right if I’m constantly in 150+ durning the majority of my rides…

I will have to look in the manual again but I dont remember anything about permanent sound shut off. Do you remember how you did this by chance?
This model is a piece of junk! Would drain batteries instantly and would sense speed or cad. I sent it back to Polar Canada 3x in a year and on the third I told them to keep it or upgrade me to the CS300, which they did. Now I need a Ph.d. to figure out the new model!
