I just purchased a Polar 720. Is there a way to show the HR in beats instead of %? Also, is there a way to view the % grade one is riding or the average grade one rode?

when you are in the exercise mode, press the down button and it will change from percent to average to current beats per minute. I do not think you can get % grade. But it will tell you how many feet you climbed.
while you are exercising keep the lower right buttom pressed. It will change to AVG and then to actual pulse.
The % can only be checked when you download the file to the PC.

does the download tell the average % grade or only the total amount climbed? I can see the data for total amount climbed, but I am looking for data that shows the average percentage grade that I climbed during the ride.
