im a terrible salesman. please tell me how much should i ask for the following:
2002 55cm aluminium Kona Haole road bike w/ ultegra 9sp gruppo (53/39 + 12-25 cassette) & shimano spd pedals. Great condition, rides & shifts well; one maybe two very small paint chips, and i think one of the ultegra caps on the brake hood is chipped/cracked. 2003 Velomax Circuit clinchers (700c). I paid approx $1k for it new.

Put it on the Ebay cycling and triathlon pages so all of us Ebay addicts can drool over it. Ask for at least what you paid, put a nice reserve price on it and see what kind of nibbles that you get. Somebody’ll bid on it for sure.

Good luck. Quite frankly without pictures you’re gonna need all the luck you can get. Also auctions ending on the weekend tend to fetch more money

beats my first effort. i listed it on craigslist for $300 and had 12 offers in 3 minutes. Apparently bikes hold their value better than i thought. i have had good luck so far unloading the rest of my stuff on ebay w/o camera, but nothing this expensive…
Borrow a digital camera. They’re at least going to email you asking if you can send them some photos.
