I’m thinking about buying the same bike for my boy. Is it worth the money or should I save a few more dollars for one of the options from felt/specialized/etc.?

Shown is my youngest. The bike is solid, I’ve swapped the rear derrailleur with a 105 triple I had laying around. The shifting is still a bit sketch, but its a solid starter bike. Make sure to check the wheels for trueness, and be the bearings.

Thanks. My boy is 8 and our neighborhood is pretty flat so I don’t think he’ll be too worried about the shifting much anyway haha.
