I got to the part where they started naming names and the only thing I could think of was Chris Farley on SNL doing the Japanese Game show skit…
~Matt
those are CHINESE names!!!
all I can say is, when I saw people selling them on ebay, it pissed me off
they should make them go live in a van down by the river
I know of a guy who, when the price hit it’s peak last year, was getting bids of over $25 each for authentic LiveStrong wristbands.
He had ordered ten from the LiveStrong Web site long before they took off in popularity. He only wanted one, but they only sold them in packs of 10.
So he sold 8 or so of them on ebay. They didn’t all fetch $25, some sold for as little as $8.
The LiveStrong Web site suggested that organizations purchase the bands and sell them at a higher price as fund raisers.
The guy ended up sending all the money he collected from the ebay auctions to a charity… I think it was St. Colleta’s, an organization that helps the developmentally challenged.
