I recently bought a Planet X Stealth Pro Carbon and bought a medium based on the size chart but after looking around some people say the sizing runs bigger. I am about 5’ 10 and ride a 56 cm road bike, a 55 would probably fit better but I am just wondering if I got a bike that is going to be to big.,
I am just a hair shy of 5’10 and ride a medium and it fits like a glove. Def no where near to big

Awesome, was hoping to hear that. What do you run for stem length? I am actually bit shy of 5’10 as well. Thanks!
Also just shy of 5’10", longish torso vs. shortish legs and ride a 54 on most bike brands and have no problem with the medium. This is a great bike, ride it like hell.
I run a 90mm stem. Have a 32mm inseam. I mean it man…like a glove!
Sounds perfect! Thanks guys!
Iam 6’ 3" and my old road bike was a 62cm. I currently use the Stealth Carbon Pro–size XL. Fits me well. Iam so tall though it still looks like my wheels are size 650’s! haha
Are there any reviews on ST for the planet x? i did a search and didn’t see any? seems like a very good value for the $.
I was 6ft and had a large. So I would say medium would be good for you. Its easy to change stem lengths too. A fairly relaxed position as seat post is 76 degrees, but you can get a good position as they have relatively short head tubes. Easy to maintain as the cables don’t run through the frame. Good value for money frame in my opinion and I enjoyed riding it but I upgraded purely because I had the opportunity to buy something special. Not too heavy either. Cadel rode one to a tdf time trial victory in 07 I believe

I would also like to hear some reviews on Planet X bikes. They are running a great sale right now and I might be able to slip one in the budget.
I am looking as well. Googled it and saw pretty good reviews on bikeradar (i think) and it was the 2010 tri bike of the year, over the P3 and P4, in some english tri mag called 220
I am right between L and XL.
There are TONS of people on ST who ride PX (myself included). Fantastic bike. There are a couple threads with multiple reviews from ST folks.
Thanks for the link. I hadn’t searched using “Planet-X”. (Only used Planet X).
Does anyone have feedback on their wheels? Are the worth the money?
Thinking about buying a complete bike including their 82/82 wheels.
