Any STers live or work in Pittburgh? I’m heading out there this afternoon. I’m staying at the Hilton. Is it safe to run in that area after dark? I would prefer to run outside and not on the treadmills in the fitness room. Will probably not arrive until after 5.
There are about 14 Hiltons. Which one will you be staying at?
the one on Commonwealth place…I guess that’s considered “downtown.”

Yep. That is downtown. It is safe to run there after dark. Don’t know how far you’re looking to go, or if you have transportation, but there are plenty of places to run nearby. If no transportation, you can run downtown without much worry.
The jail trail and a trail on the southside are both close and a few miles each.
