So…I am going gangbusters with the Pink theme to follow my fancy schmancy Planet X pink bike…I mean, the bike rides so damn well in Pink that I would not be riding at all of I was not rolling in Pink.
Today…at the grocery store…society rears its ugly head once again…men with tattoos and Harley Davidson shirts look and point, others divert there eyes…and one precious young lady of about four asked me “how come you are wearing a girls shirt?” - well…at least someone had some courage eh? I said “It is a boys shirt and it matches my bike”…she smiled big and said “I have a pink bike too”. Her mom thought that it was really funny and off I went (bag boys would not make eye contact).
Think it takes a man to ride a pink bike? Wear a pink shirt!!!
Is that like ‘everything old is new again’? I was wearing hot pink in the mid eighties when I first got into triathlons. And neon yellow and green too. No one batted an eye back then…musta been the WHAM influence of the day. If anyone asks say you do it for breast cancer vistims everywhere.
I had a hot pink pair of shorts (not to mention the spandex shorts that looked like blue jeans!), matching seat cover, helmet cover, bar tape and a paint spash finish on my Nishiki NFS Alpha!

Whatever you have to tell yourself.
But then again I’m not the one taking pictures of myself in my pink shirt.
I wouldn’t be the one to ask you why you are wearing a pink shirt. I would just know that there was something not right. And right now my radar is pinging.
I might give you credit but that’s about ten shades away from salmon.
Please don’t tell me you pop your collars.
Attention all men over 30. Popping your collars is not cool.
I was buying some dip (chewing tobacco not french) at a store the other day and the lady behind the counter said in a thick Alabama white trash accent “I’ve always wondered what the gay kind was.” Maybe I misread what she said. There was a time in my life where I probably would have jumped over the counter and punched her in the neck, now I just thought it was funny.
Would you wear pink and green striped tri gear or jersey?
I have no problem with your pink shirt or bike, but the fact that you stuped so low as to take a “Myspace’esque” picture of your pink shirt is really an issue with me. Do people not have enough friends to take pictures of them? Man go ask a neighbor or something but please stay away from the mirror for god’s sake!
See if you can recall this movie quote (w/o googling)… “…this is Ohio. I mean, if you don’t have a brewski in your hand you might as well be wearing a dress.”
