I have developed a pinched nerve in my neck that has progressively gotten worse to the point that I have limited use of my right hand and now am losing dexterity in my arm. PT is not working and I see an orthopedic surgeon in a few days. My questionis, has any one had any success with acupuncture in treating this kind of injury?
Your problem is generally why chiropractors exist. Hint, hint…
Don’t know about accupuncture.

There was a clinical study that I was reading in a journal not too long ago comparing chiropractic with acupuncture in neck problems. Chiropractic was more effective.
I’ve seen pt’s and chiropractors for a bulging disc in my neck that caused problems with my right arm and hand and I got the best results from a GOOD chiropractor.
I am a chiropractor who has an acupuncturist on staff. Give chiropractic 6 visits at least. If no results the acupuncturist can usually fix it up in half that but its more expensive and takes time. Then again, if you have disc involvment, it may be more complex.
