Pinarello F4:13...Bible Bike?

…anyone notice the ad for the Pinarello F4:13? Its tagline is “I can do anything, given the strength…”

Which is pretty close to the actual Phillipians 4:13 verse “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength…” or "I can do everything through him who gives me strength. " (version depending)…

Now, I realize that P and F are different letters…and the F on the Pinarello very well might not stand (or imply) Phillipians…nor do I know Italian…but I think it’s cool they use it as marketing…but it seems to have missed most folks.

Anyone?

Well unless you’re Budhist or something. Kinda like finding out that that Japanese scroll thingy you just got tattoo’d on your arm really means “I’m a woos”.

three other motor vehicle companies thought of using biblical references for model names, but chose otherwise.

• Jehovah drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden in a Fury.
• David’s Triumph was heard throughout the land.
• The apostles were all in one Accord.

(tat tat…tat. i gotta million of 'em)

I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re right on this one. Italian doesn’t have the ‘ph’ sound and only used the letter f.

…actually, it’s in all of their ads - so yes, kind of…don’t know where else i would have seen it.
