Where do ride or do you usually drive to hines or willow maybe, or do you just head on out from your house. Always looking for other routes and tri/cycle folks downriver not to many of us buried in that corner. I run through Elizabeth park all the time, and ride through there from Grosse Ile Parkway to cut out some of Jefferson. I do most of my riding on the Island. Last year I went out to some of the Dearborn rides. Also, starting last fall and this spring a group of friends I ride with has been doing the metro parks. Starting at the Marathon Gas station at Jefferson and Van Horn Sunday mornings and hitting up Erie, Oakwood, Willow and Lower Huron metro parks for about 60 miles round trip. On Sundays that we don’t do the metro parks we do 3 laps of the Island.

The list is not affiliated with any clubs, just a list of 20 or so downriver area cyclists. We usually get around 5 - 10 people show up on Sundays (average probably about 5). It’s a friendly group, everyone tries to work together, and keep the group together, but the paces are spirited (for me at least).
