Recent postings of failing carbon aerobars has me rethinking upgrading my profile bar w/ c2 clip-ons to something carbon and sexy. What other choices are out there which would be more aero than my current set-up or should I just leave well enough alone? Sounds like it may be a problem with the earliest designs only, but I don’t want to take a chance.
The Vision Tech base bar and clip-ons are really nice! I went from an integrated Vision bar to the base bar/clip-on set up. I am a lot more comfortable, because you can change the positioning of the clip-ons to suit your needs. Just take any measurements off of the bars that you have now.

I second the Vtechs- I have hed the HED one piece, then went to Vtechs- loved them, then went to the HED S bend on Vtech base bars and couldnt get comfortable, Im back on the vtechs

Hi Triman… just to be clear in my posting about clip-on’s… it was the carbon handlebars that failed while trying to clamp on the clip-on’s. My vote is still for carbon aerobars, but aluminum 26.0mm handlebars. I’m not a bog fan of the C2’s as they are not adjustable enough for my taste (can’t adjust legnth). I’m sticking with my Profiles.
