Pic of P3carbon

Phil at R&A Cycles said that he should see them by the beginning of the new year… Gerard, any truth to this?

Can all of you please stop showing images of carbonated P3s?!

I have just wet myself again.

Does anyone know the mechanics involved in getting carbon strong enough to withstand someone really cranking down on those bolts? Simply amazing.

You will not be able to really crank down on the bolts. The seat post is kind of like the set up on the Isaac Joule time trial bike. There is a tourque limit. The bolts will hold.

Yes, carbon is not so much happy being compressed. One of the easiest (or hardest way to learn this) is to rig a rowing shell and put your riggers on too tight. Then if you are lucky you hear the carbon crunch just a little. If you are not so lucky, then you feel the nut drive right through the side of a $28,000 boat. This is a very bad feeling. Perhaps the worst…

go to all3sports.com, they have them for sale on their site, a bit too pricey for me
